The
Forms of Good and Evil
There is nothing
that matters in the vast nothingness;
Less is more and
more is nothing less.
Where there is
emptiness
There is inimitable
silence
This is immutable
until birth’s violence.
There is an uneasy
stillness in the dark
Where the eyes
are wide open and stark
As the struggle
to survive seeks to mark
Whether the prey’s
flight is real
Or whether the
predator has a meal.
There was perfect
balance in Eden’s garden
As paradise gave eternity
without ill or harden -
Least the coveting
of men need warden
Against the one covenant’s stake:
Do not fall into
temptation’s wake.
There is a subtle
disturbance in the stillness
A blink of light grows
into a timeless
Explosion of
infinite power ; space is endless
And, goodness and
evilness shall be amorphous
Until the eye’s
desires seek to have their carnal notice.
